Software
There are many pieces of software that digital artists can use; they include Paint Shop Pro by Jasc and PhotoShop by Adobe. Though the two popular programs have small differences, they both provide a wide range of tools for the artist to use – the ability to use layers for coloring the artwork, making parts of the image transparent for use on the web, and other tools for sketching, inking, etc. The most significant difference is the price; PhotoShop costs much more than Paint Shop Pro.
