Personal Site Project
The focus of the site is to provide information about anime and manga. The categories and links within the site includes some background information about anime (early anime, the art before anime, and what manga and anime are), some anime and manga titles, outside links, art influenced by anime, and information about DU's anime club.
The color scheme may vary a little bit, mostly within the pages about the anime (the palette of the anime title may influence the palette of that anime's page). I think I will stick with a very light color for the background, and a crimson color for the buttons.
The layout of the site will be similar; there will be a banner at the top that has the topic (the images at the end may change), buttons to the left, an image to the right, and the text in the middle. An e-mail link will be at the bottom of most pages (if not just the main page) and the Home link is where the e-mail link is, but on pages other than the index. For the anime and manga titles I might put some primary character descriptions and put an image of each next to the description.
The graphics in the site is determined mostly by the sections. For the index page, a general anime or manga image will be placed to the right (maybe a collage). For the pages describing the title, there is be an image of characters or settings from the title. I intend all images to be about the same size throughout the site, so I have cropped and resized the images to fit on the side.
